Friend, one of the strong qualities of the devil is in consistency in launching his attacks, but still many believers have become victims and innocent prey.The devil does not come to us through many roads,he comes on a road,a lane,he has only one trick in his bag; ‘lies’. The devil is the father of all lies.
John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
Friend, may I repeat again that the mind is the target of the devil.;the mind is the battle ground.The devil can not successfully launch his attack until he succeeds in getting into the mind.The mind is essentially comprising of the emotions and the senses.The devil plants his lies in the mind of believers by manipulating our emotions and physical senses to get into our mind.If the mind is faint or weak then the man becomes feeble.
When the enemy gets the mind, he then flood the mind with lies,deceptions,falsehood and all unimaginable.The strength of the devil is his lies,the strength of God is the truth and the strength of man is his will.It has been said that where there is a will there is always a way.God has left us with a sure way by giving us a will.
A sure way out is standing on and enforcing the truth of God’s word .Your will to accept the truth and stand by and for nothing but the truth puts to flight the lies of the devil in your mind.The light shines in darkness and darkness does not comprehend it.
John 1:5
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
Friend,when satan travels through his devices to the mind and establish his control,if not immediately reclaimed he establishes a stronghold from there he controls every other areas.
The lies you believe will begin to dominate your thought and emotion.At the point of believing the devil’s lies,then the mind begins to produce the devil’s reality in your life.Faith in the lies of the devil has the capacity to create reality.When you accept the lies as being true you voluntarily and automatically lose your power of dominance.
Who is he that speaks and comes to pass when The Lord command it not.Whatever thing that you may have believed that is not in agreement with God’s word is a lie.
Listen, can you search through your mind right away and check those believes that have no base in God’s word; believe me they are lies of the enemy,the mouth of the devil which you are empowered to stop.Common lets join the hall of faith and be part of those who through faith stops the mouth of lion.
Today’s confession:
I make bold declaration that I walk in the light and frustrate every work of darkness in Jesus name. I am guided into all truths by the Holy Spirit.
